1965 Porsche 904 Carrera GTS
Chassis Number: 904-115
Original chassis number 904-062 was involved in an accident. A new chassis was ordered from Porsche in 1968, giving the car a new chassis number 904-115.
Engine and gearbox is not original as originals were heavily damaged and it is fitted with '65 Porsche engine/gearbox.
In 1980, it was it was then restored by Porsche Clark in the Netherlands. Suspensions and body parts used, were OEM factory original Porsche 904 parts ordered by Porsche Clark.
After its restoration and in 1983, 904-115 was sold to US collector and in 1986 Japanese collector bought and imported it into Japan.
This car is NOT a replica but a non matching numbers 904. It is mechanically, in great condition and the car shows as a "Showroom" piece.
It is not known how many of the original (approximately) 120 Porsche 904's still survive. But as this excellent example is not a matching numbers, with its factory original parts, it still embodies the spirit of the Race Car that Porsche drove to Victory and constitute a great investment.
We can get this vintage racer for 25% of the price of a matching Porsche 904 Carrera GTS.
